The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly opted out of their partnership with the BCCI after the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have imposed a ban on gaming & fantasy apps. The new rule came into effect after the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill was passed.

The BCCI on Monday ended their partnership with the online gaming platform with the fantasy sports platform no longer sponsoring the Indian cricket team. The move has now left BCCI in a tricky position as they are looking for their new sponsors ahead of the Asia Cup 2025.

Meanwhile, with the passing of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, not only Dream11, but other fantasy gaming platforms and betting apps have also been banned.
